Between Saturday 2022-06-25 07:00 UTC and Saturday 2022-06-25 09:00 UTC we will be carrying out essential maintenance on our databases. Throughout this period customers may experience periods of brief interruption to the following features: Inbox, Contacts, Outbound messages, Reporting, Article search, Operator (custom bots, resolution bot, etc). This is due to planned maintenance work required on our core database services.
What is the impact? During the maintenance window, the Intercom product may be degraded or unavailable for a few minutes multiple times. The delivery of some messages may be delayed.
Why are we doing this? We are rebooting our Elasticsearch clusters to support a change to our underlying infrastructure which will enhance the stability and performance of our platform.
Customer trust, data security, and availability are critical to everything we do at Intercom. We only do these essential maintenance tasks when absolutely necessary, and will always aim to give as much notice as possible.
What will the exact experience be for our customers during the change? At various points over the maintenance window, customers may get an error accessing the following • Inbox • Contacts (user/companies) list including contacts search API • Reporting including CSV exports • Outbound home page • Operator home
