Between Saturday 2022-07-09 09:00 UTC+1 and Saturday 2022-07-09 10:00 UTC+1, customers will experience a series of interruptions to the following features: Product Tours, Article views counter, reactions, and exporting stats.

What is the impact?
During the maintenance window, Product Tours and Reports export will be degraded or unavailable for up to 30 minutes. Recording Article’s views and reactions will be unavailable.

This will impact customers across US data hosting regions. Customers using our European/Australian Regional data hosting will not be impacted.

Why are we doing this?
Some of our database clusters need to be restarted during the maintenance window while we perform an important database change.

Customer trust, data security, and availability are critical to everything we do at Intercom. We only do these essential maintenance tasks when absolutely necessary, and always give at least 48 hours notice.

What will the exact experience be for our customers during the change?
During the changes, the following may occur:
• Product Tours progress will not be recorded.
• Report Exports will not work.
• Information related to Articles views and engagement will not be recorded.

Scheduled - Between Saturday 2022-06-25 07:00 UTC and Saturday 2022-06-25 09:00 UTC we will be carrying out essential maintenance on our databases. Throughout this period customers may experience periods of brief interruption to the following features: Inbox, Contacts, Outbound messages, Reporting, Article search, Operator (custom bots, resolution bot, etc). This is due to planned maintenance work required on our core database services.

What is the impact?
During the maintenance window, the Intercom product may be degraded or unavailable for a few minutes multiple times. The delivery of some messages may be delayed.

Why are we doing this?
We are rebooting our Elasticsearch clusters to support a change to our underlying infrastructure which will enhance the stability and performance of our platform.

Customer trust, data security, and availability are critical to everything we do at Intercom. We only do these essential maintenance tasks when absolutely necessary, and will always aim to give as much notice as possible.

What will the exact experience be for our customers during the change?
