We will be undergoing scheduled maintenance during this time.
Posted Apr 12, 2023 - 20:17 UTC
Scheduled
Between 2023-04-15 08:00 UTC and 2023-04-15 09:30 UTC, customers with workspaces based in the US data hosting region will experience degraded performance on all features.

What is the impact?
During the maintenance window, Intercom features including the Inbox will be degraded or unavailable for up to 30 minutes.

Customers with workspaces in our EU and AUS data hosting regions are unaffected.

Why are we doing this?
A mission critical database will be upgraded from AWS RDS Aurora v1 to AWS RDS Aurora v2 during this maintenance window. AWS have deprecated support of AWS RDS Aurora v1. This is the last database that we must upgrade to Aurora v2.

Customer trust, data security, and availability are critical to everything we do at Intercom. We only do these essential maintenance tasks when absolutely necessary, and always give at least 48 hours notice.

What will the exact experience be for our customers during the change?
During the changes, the following will occur:
• Customers with workspaces hosted in the US region will see degraded performance across Intercom.
